Virginia Beach, VA (May 2, 2023) – Howard Hanna Real Estate Services (HHRES) is pleased to announce that Sherry Maser, HHRES managing broker, was elected treasurer of the Virginia Association of Realtors® (VAR). Effective Jan. 1, 2024, Maser will be a member of the leadership team of the VAR organization with other members from around the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“I am honored to be elected to the position of treasurer and a member of the VAR 2024 leadership team,” said Maser. “We are the largest professional trade association in Virginia, and our job is extremely important.”

Maser has worked in the industry for more than 26 years, spending the last eight years with HHRES. She previously served as chair of the VAR Professional Standards and Grievance Committee, and is a founding member and current president of The Women’s Council of Realtors, Southeastern Virginia Network.
A native of Hampton Roads, Va., Maser currently manages the HHRES Great Bridge office and has resided in the Great Bridge area for more than 30 years.
